Why build now?
People are changing how they find things. They used to search and choose from a list of links. Now they ask an assistant and receive one answer, with a handful of named sources. Software that lists options is giving way to software that answers questions.
That shift creates sharp, consequential problems that big platforms are too busy to solve well. A studio can. Each PatnAIQ product picks one of those problems, solves it end to end, and proves the result with a number you can check yourself.
How we decide what to build
A problem qualifies when it can be stated in one question, measured with one number, and solved by one focused tool. If a product needs a demo call to explain, it isn't ready. If its value can't be verified by the customer independently, it doesn't ship.
How we work
- Ship a working version first, then improve it against real use — never the other way around.
- Report only what was observed. No product fabricates a signal, a score, or a review, for a customer or for ourselves.
- Charge for outcomes. Free tools stay genuinely free; paid tiers deliver results, not dashboards.

What is Surfaced?
Surfaced fetches your page the way an AI crawler does — raw HTML, no JavaScript — then scores what it finds: crawler access, answer-shaped content, proof signals and brand footprint. It returns four scores out of 100 and a fix list ordered by impact, so the work starts with whatever costs the most visibility.
The scoring adjusts to what kind of business you are. A dentist is judged on Google reviews and a business profile; a software company is judged on its site and its footprint. Most tools score both against the same checklist, which makes one of them look broken when it isn't.
Why the raw-HTML view matters
Most AI citation crawlers never execute JavaScript. A site can look complete to every human visitor while showing a crawler almost nothing, and its owner has no way to know. Surfaced reads the page exactly as those crawlers do, so its scores reflect what the engines actually see.
Who is behind PatnAIQ?
PatnAIQ is founded and run by Dilip Patnaik. It is a studio of one, which is stated here plainly because the products themselves punish websites that fake their signals. The same rule applies at home: one live toolset today, the next already in build.
